About us
As a true teaching family with a love for history, the idea was to offer children a tour in Thorn. Through this, we wanted to spark interest in Thorn as well as in history in general.
We discovered that there was no tour available for adults that included the real stories from the past. This led to the creation of a tour for adults. In the following period, we developed escape routes in and around Thorn. This way, people can also get to know the fascinating stories in the form of a puzzle tour.
It is a family activity where we work together on organization, the website, images, and ways to make our service more enjoyable and pleasant for you. Everyone contributes their own skills and input, and it’s fun to work together on this ever-growing project.

Geert Stams, a retired upper primary school teacher. He has a passion for history, photography, and enjoys tinkering on the computer. He creates the website, takes and edits photos, collects stories, and writes texts.
Hélène Stams, partner and mother, is not in education but knows all about it (sometimes too much) through all the stories. She also has a passion for history, reading, walking, and solving puzzles. She contributes critical ideas on everything, from photos to contact with the hospitality industry. She prepares bags for the escape routes and records voiceovers.
Sanne Stams, a teacher in lower primary education. She has a passion for history, acting, and drawing. She designed the logo, wrote texts, and manages the Facebook page.
